How to become a Cub

What Scouting offers Cubs.

If you are between the age of 8 and 11 years old you are old enough to be a Cub.
Cubs are extremely curious, imaginative, creative, like collecting things and are beginning to form gangs.

The training a Cub receives is based upon the Cub Law and Promise.

It is a three-year program and is a series of Advancement tests that train Cubs in habits of good health and physical fitness, teach skills which help the person to be independant, to be able to amuse oneself, and to give efficient service to others.

The program is guided by adult leadership (Pack Scouters & Assistants).

An Interest badge scheme also helps widen interests and develop talents.

The highest award that can be earned (before the age of 11 years) is the "Leaping Wolf "

Leaping Wolf Award
